Your Water Headquarters. myH2Q gives water utilities a modern, branded customer portal — powered by your AMI meter data. Leak alerts, drought awareness, usage insights, and billing in one place.
Built for forward-thinking water utilities
Platform features
myH2Q connects directly to your AMI data feed and delivers a fully branded customer experience — no custom development required.
Continuous flow monitoring flags potential leaks automatically. Customers get notified the moment a problem is detected — before it becomes a costly repair.
Hourly, daily, and monthly usage charts give customers full visibility into their water consumption — with neighborhood comparisons built in.
SMS and email notifications for leak events, backflow, and billing — all customer-controlled, configurable, and delivered in plain language.
Clear bill breakdowns, payment history, and one-tap payment. Reduce inbound calls and improve on-time payment rates across your customer base.
Customers set monthly usage targets and track progress in real time. During drought conditions, goals automatically reflect utility-mandated reduction targets.
Built on hourly meter reads. No manual entry, no retrofitting. If your meters transmit it, myH2Q surfaces it to your customers automatically.
Real-time Colorado drought status (D0–D4), active water restriction notices, neighbor usage comparisons, and reduction progress tracking — all in the customer's portal.

About us
We're not a software company that stumbled into water. We're water people who built the software.
"45 years in the water industry. A decade building enterprise software at scale. We started myH2Q because between the two of us, we had everything needed to finally solve this problem."
Our founder spent 45 years working directly with metering manufacturers, utilities, and the infrastructure that keeps water flowing to homes and businesses across the country. He's worked hands-on with every major platform — Itron, Neptune, Badger Meter, Sensus, Kamstrup, and Aclara — and understands not just how the hardware works, but how to extract, interpret, and act on the data it produces.
His partner is a veteran and senior software engineer who spent the last decade building and scaling infrastructure at one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms — handling billions of dollars in transactions for millions of businesses globally. He brings the engineering depth to match the industry knowledge.
We've seen firsthand what happens when meter data sits locked inside a system that only engineers can access. Leaks go undetected for weeks. Customers get surprise bills. Utilities field thousands of calls that could have been prevented with a simple notification.
Based in Colorado, we've watched drought conditions intensify across the state and seen how utilities struggle to communicate usage restrictions to their customers. myH2Q puts that information directly in their hands.
Talk to our teamData rules the world. Water utilities are sitting on some of the most actionable data in any industry — and most of their customers have no idea it exists. myH2Q changes that.
